The United Methodist Men need YOU!
The United Methodist Men invite all men of LUMC and surrounding Christian churches to come and join us as we reorganize and refocus our ministry to men. This will be different than what we have done in the past. We meet every FIRST MONDAY of the month at 7pm for a meal and a message geared towards growing men closer to God, Church, and Family. God has a special place for men in His Kingdom. Come and find your place.
Lakeland UMC Choir is awesome!
We feature a full choir during our traditional service at 11 am service. Our choir is top-notch and is always looking for more energetic and loving voices. We practice every Wednesday evening at 7:30 in the Sanctuary. Come check out the great sound of Lakeland UMC.
Our prayer ministry at work. We have a number of people dedicated to pray for people and circumstances in our church and world. Please help by keeping us advised of who may need special prayer, AND by remembering to celebrate God’s work by removing those who may no longer need to be on our prayer list. Keep praying: prayers DO work!
PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
Inspired by Isaiah 40:31: "But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." If you know someone in need of a prayer shawl made with the love of God please contact our church office and our Prayer Shawl Ministry, "Greatly Blessed" will be glad to fill your need.
